SMS Opt-In Policy
This page describes how Home Manager — a product of FreebieDay, Inc., a Delaware corporation — collects consent to send text messages (SMS), what messages we send, and how to opt out. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
How You Opt In
We send text messages only to people who have opted in in one of two ways:
- Account holders: when you create a Home Manager account, you enter your own phone number in the app and tap “Text me a code.” Consent language is displayed directly beneath that button before you request the message. We then text you a one-time verification code to confirm you own the number.
- Invited family members: a member of your family can invite you to their household by entering your phone number in the app. The invite form tells them you will receive a text from Home Manager. You will receive an invitation message identifying the household that invited you, and you join only if you reply YES. If you do not reply YES, we do not enroll you and you will not receive recurring messages.
We never buy phone number lists, and we never send marketing or promotional messages to numbers that have not opted in as described above.
Messages We Send
- One-time phone verification codes
- Family invitations to join a Home Manager household
- Reminders and scheduled family briefings (based on your household's schedule and settings)
- Conversational replies from Milo, the family assistant, when you text it
Message frequency varies depending on your household's activity and settings. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting Out and Getting Help
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from text messages at any time.
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance.

After you reply STOP you will receive a final confirmation message, and we will stop sending texts to your number.
Your Number Stays Private
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, shared, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional use. We share numbers only with the messaging providers that deliver texts on our behalf.
Carrier Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may vary.
